There are some projects which do not fall into easily recognisable categories and merit a description of their own.  These include both temporary and permanent installations in unique environments.

These bespoke projects include the design of new luminaries for the illumination of the Albert Memorial - lighting design by The Lighting Design Partnership, the specification and management of the illumination of the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord at Meiderich in Germany - lighting design by Studio Park.

As part of the BBC's public art strategy Light Perceptions carried out feasibility studies into a series of art works under consideration for inclusion in the Media Village and Energy Centre.  These included schemes involving digital projection, solar powered lighting as well as large scale external illumination of the White City campus.
