Often referred to as “The Queen of the Cotswold’s”, Painswick’s narrow streets and traditional architecture make it the epitome of the English village. At its heart, St Mary’s Church, with its soaring spire is probably one of the most visited churches in the Cotswolds.

The churchyard was described by the renowned historian Alec Clifton-Taylor as “the grandest churchyard in England” with its famous tombs and yew trees . . . . . .

Light Perceptions new lighting scheme replaces obsolete 300W tungsten spotlights with an all LED lighting scheme including a set of custom designed Arts and Crafts pendants for the nave, with additional spotlighting in the chancel and sanctuary.
