Gloucester Cathedral – Pilgrim Project

Light Perceptions have recently been appointed to work on an exciting new project at Gloucester Cathedral. The Pilgrim Project includes the re-landscaping of the College Green area, improvements to the majestic south porch entrance and the west end of the nave as well as the relighting of the Lady Chapel – part of the Romanesque east end, not just the earliest surviving of any great English church, but also has the oldest extant ambulatoried chancel in either Normandy or England. Work on the initial design stages will start later this year with completion of the work planned for the middle of 2017.
