The Chapel of the Holy Spirit lies with its entrance opposite to the Crypt Chapel and benefits from daylight on three sides from tall slim windows. The new lighting here provides improved reading light to the fixed collegiate stalls and greater spotlighting to the Altar and reredos.

Uplighting from fittings positioned between the windows and on top of the stalls’ canopy adds to the general ambience, conveying a tremendous sense of light and space.

For both Chapels the new lighting is controlled by a simple dimming and scene setting system that allows for different settings to be used for services at different times of the day and evening as well as for visitors at other times.
