The post war relighting of Chelsea Old Church consisted of large Flemish pendants in the nave and simple spotlighting in the chancel and chapels.

The spotlighting was replaced, probably in the 1980s but by 2000 both the replacement spotlighting and the majority of wiring in the building was beyond economic repair.

The new scheme added more pendants in the chancel and over the choir gallery creating a far more elegant and less fussy light for this almost unique interior.
