Adel lies in a leafy suburb to the north of Leeds. St John’s church is considered to be one of the finest and most complete Norman buildings in the north of England. Amongst the features of this small but quite beautiful parish church are the fine stone carvings of the porch and chancel arch.

The lighting subtly enhances the beautiful features of this very significant historic church with new pendants and wall brackets as well as largely invisible LED spotlighting.

The design includes uplighting to the previously unseen timber ceiling and decorative lighting to the ornate chancel arch.
