Wakefield Cathedral is fine Mediaeval building in the heart of the City. It is also Wakefield’s largest public space and therefore a busy venue for both spiritual and secular events.

Light Perceptions’ lighting scheme took inspiration from the Comper Rood screen that dominates the nave. Pendants now hang in the nave, designed in the same style that Comper himself used in many other church interiors – this time with the latest in LED light source technology.

Additional LED spotlighting is used throughout to provide accent lighting and architectural highlighting to this beautifully cleaned and restored interior.
